Here's what Iggy Pop had to say about fat possum in the new Arthur magazine: Iggy Pop : Fat Possum is the only decent record company in this country. They're the only ones putting out consistently good product, and their shit is the only new shit I listen to for pleasure. I'll go out and buy the White Stripes because I think I should hear the new White Stripes album, but if I want to listen to something for pleasure or genuine interest, I go to Fat Possum. ------------------------------------------------------------------------ Monday, Monday, Monday... Only 3 days left to get in on our redesigned website extravaganza sale. That's $13.00 for every CD that we make. Prices guaranteed to go shooting back up on Monday. Black Keys - "thickfreakness" ------------------------------------------------------------------------ If you don't like the "George Mitchell collection" you're probably a bad person. R. L. Burnside - "First Recordings" Furry Lewis - "Good Morning Judge" Fred McDowell - "Mama Says I'm Crazy" Joe Callicott - "Ain't A Gonna Lie To You" God only knows when the CDs will be this cheap again. ------------------------------------------------------------------------ Broken dreams, unfulfilled promise, and half a box of dusty old casettes.... Souls of Fire, the first release from the Neckbones, has been selling hand over fist since we set it to $5.00. We've still got some in stock, but they're going pretty quickly...
