Website Trouble

As you may have heard, we've been moving our website from the old server out in California to a brand new location (out in California), and given Murphy's Law, we've been having some problems getting everything running smoothly. For those of you who have tried to order stuff in the past two weeks (new customers especially), you may have not been able to get an account. Most of these problems have been eliminated, so if you were waiting to order the new Shams record or the highly recommended Charles Caldwell record, go right ahead and click here now.

On the Road

"Yeah, it wasn't no fight; I just knocked him out. I didn't want to do it but I talked to him and told him. I said, "Paul, look, I want to be friendly with you. You stop telling me about the white ladies. I don't have a white woman and you don't, neither. Don't come getting at me cause a white woman leave you and come to me. Don't come saying to me nothing about, That's yours and that's mine. You're gonna cause some bad confusion if you do now. You better keep that on your mind."

Thee Shams

Thee Shams are hitting the road in June to kick off the release of their Fat Possum Debut Please Yourself. The successor of the nationally voted top ten album of 2001, The Shams, Take Off, leaves in its wake countless wigglin’ rumps, screamin’ tomatoes and a mind blown craving for more of their muddy psychedelic swamp rock. Look below for tour dates from Thee Shams during the month of June.

Speaking of Charles Caldwell...

I was checking up on the folks at the unofficial Fat Possum Email Group (toobadjim), and there seemed to be a lot of love for this record. All I can say is that if you're smart, you'll order this record.
